ভূমি সচিব-এর জাতিসংঘ ইভেন্টে যোগদান

ভূমি সচিব জনাব মোঃ মোস্তাফিজুর রাহমান, পিএএ বুধবার, ২ জুন ২০২১ তারিখ (বাংলাদেশ সময়, রাত : ১১:০০ টায়) "স্বচ্ছ, জবাবদিহি ও অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক প্রতিষ্ঠান স্থাপন" শীর্ষক জাতিসংঘ সাধারণ পরিষদের এক সহ ইভেন্টে ভিডিও কনফারেন্সের মাধ্যমে উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

ভূমি সচিব তাঁর বক্তব্যে "কার্যকর ও জবাবদিহি প্রতিষ্ঠান গড়ে তুলতে এবং ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ গোষ্ঠীদের অন্তর্ভুক্তি নিশ্চিত করতে (জাতিসংঘ) পুরস্কার বিজয়ী উদ্যোগগুলো থেকে শিক্ষণীয়" শীর্ষক বিষয়ে বাংলাদেশের ভূমি ব্যবস্থাপনায় ই-নামজারির ইতিবাচক ভূমিকার ব্যাপারে আলোকপাত করেন। উল্লেখ্য, বাংলাদেশের ভূমি মন্ত্রণালয় ই-নামজারি কার্যক্রমের জন্য গত বছর 'ইউনাইটেড ন্যাশনস পাবলিক সার্ভিস অ্যাওয়ার্ড-২০২০' অর্জন করে।

জাতিসংঘের অর্থনৈতিক ও সামাজিক বিষয়ক আন্ডার সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল লিউ জেনমিন উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে অন্যান্যদের মধ্যে ভিডিও কনফারেন্সের মাধ্যমে উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

Land Secretary attended a UN event

Land Secretary Md Mustafizur Rahman, PAA attended a UNGASS against Corruption 2021 Side Event on "Building Transparent, Accountable and Inclusive Institutions" through video conference on Wednesday, 2 June 2021 (BST 11:00 PM ).

In his speech, the Land Secretary highlighted the positive role of e-Mutation in the land management of Bangladesh in a discussion titled "Lessons from award-winning initiatives on how to foster effective and accountable institutions and ensure the inclusion of vulnerable groups". It is to be noted that, the Bangladesh Ministry of Land won the 'United Nations Public Service Award-2020' last year for the e-Mutation program.

UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Liu Zhenmin was present at the event through video conference, among others.
