বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা আখতারুজ্জামান চৌধুরীর পক্ষে স্বাধীনতা পুরস্কার গ্রহণ করলেন তাঁর ভূমিমন্ত্রী পুত্র

(ঢাকা, বৃহস্পতিবার, ২০ মে ২০২১) গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকার বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা মরহুম আখতারুজ্জামান চৌধুরী বাবুকে স্বাধীনতা ও মুক্তিযুদ্ধে গৌরবময় ও কৃতিত্বপূর্ণ অবদানের স্বীকৃতিস্বরূপ ২০২১ সালে স্বাধীনতা পুরস্কারে (মরণোত্তর) ভূষিত করেছে।

জাতীয় পর্যায়ে গৌরবোজ্জ্বল ও কৃতিত্বপূর্ণ অবদানের স্বীকৃতি স্বরূপ প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা আজ সকালে তাঁর সরকারি বাসভবন গণভবনে অনুষ্ঠিত এক অনুষ্ঠানে নয় বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তি ও একটি প্রতিষ্ঠানকে দেশের সর্বোচ্চ সম্মান স্বাধীনতা পুরস্কার-২০২১ তুলে দেন।

এসময় আখতারুজ্জামান চৌধুরী বাবুর পক্ষে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা থেকে স্বাধীনতা পুরস্কার (মরণোত্তর) ২০২১ গ্রহণ করেন তাঁর জ্যেষ্ঠ পুত্র ভূমিমন্ত্রী সাইফুজ্জামান চৌধুরী।

উল্লেখ্য, গত ৭ মার্চ ২০২১ তারিখে সরকার দেশের সর্বোচ্চ বেসামরিক পুরস্কার স্বাধীনতা পুরস্কার ২০২১ এর মনোনীতদের তালিকা প্রকাশ করে।

(Dhaka, Thursday, 20 May 2021) The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has posthumously awarded the late Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu the Swadhinata Padak (Independence Award) in 2021 in recognition of his glorious and outstanding contribution to the war of independence and liberation.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina conferred Swadhinata Purashkar 2021 to nine eminent persons and an institution in recognition of glorious and outstanding contribution at the national level at a program held at her official residence Ganobhaban today morning.

At this time, on behalf of the late Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu, his eldest son Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury received the Swadhinata Purashkar 2021 (posthumously) from the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

It is to be noted that the government published the list of nominees for the country's highest civilian award, the Swadhinata Purashkar 2021 on March 7, 2021.
